We founded Mango Motorsports in 2001 when Scott and Pat thought it would be fun to enter some rock-climbing competitions. Pat had been crawling rocks in his jeep "Blarney" for a couple years prior to that.

Scott and Cheryl had climbed the rocks of Moab in their Land Rover in 1997. As far as custom rock rods go, Scott's first acquisition was the "Independence" back in 2002. Since then, Pat has been to Farmington, NM for the World Rock Crawl 2002. Mango Motorsports' mechanics have built a new rod called Mango. Thanks to Emmett, Mike, Wade and Tim for their hard work!
